You don't start from a blank page. GroundPound ships 36 ready-made team templates — 34 public teams plus 2 admin-only templates — each one a coordinator plus a hand-tuned roster of specialists, wired with the right capabilities and channel presets. Every template ships an industry-tuned seed knowledge base that's indexed at generation, and the eight highest-traffic templates additionally seed fuller starter knowledge packs; the wizard's knowledge step layers your own docs on top. Describe your business in plain English and the setup wizard suggests the best match mid-conversation ("this looks like the Dental Practice template — want to start from there?"). Generation time varies with template shape, uploaded files, provider latency, and whether you choose Tailored or Bespoke mode; the progress stream shows where the run is.

A note on regulated and high-stakes work
Some templates touch sensitive domains. Where that's true, the guardrails are part of the design — for example, the Trading Desk template is a multi-asset research deskthat does analysis only and never autonomously places, modifies, or cancels a trade. Healthcare-adjacent templates defer any feature that would handle protected health information until the appropriate agreements are in place. The safety posture isn't bolted on after; it's built into the template.
The 34 public templates are available on every plan, including Free. The 2 admin-only templates are excluded from public self-serve provisioning.
